Yeah, I LJ-cut the workout, but not the photo. Hey, it's only 9k!
- Weight: 282, still! Need to lay off the ice cream!
- One-armed rows: 3 sets of 15, 9lb weight. Tough, but doable. Whew!
- Dumbbell standing shoulder press: 3 sets of 15, 9lb weights. Also tough.
- Dumbbell shrugs: 3 sets of 15, 15lb weights. Started out easy, but was straining by end of each set.
- Dumbbell bench press: 3 sets of 15, 12lb weights. Difficult.
- Ab crunches: 3 sets of 10. Technically part of the lower-body workout, but I like how they make my belly feel a bit tauter. I know from past experience that I can do them every other day with no harm.
As usual after I exercise, I feel energetic and optimistic. Next thing to work on: Waking up earlier, so I can feel energetic and optimistic at, say, 11 AM, instead of 3 in the afternoon.
The original plan for tomorrow involved me renting a truck so that a three (four?)-way furniture transfer could be arranged involving some old bookshelves of Beth’s, a futon, some stuff at my old/Chris’s new apartment, and some unoccupied space here in Jersey City. I tried calling the U-Haul place near us to reserve a truck, but the guy said he was snowed in. I strolled over to a window and had my first good look outside since sometime Sunday afternoon:
Ah. Well. No, I don’t think we’ll be hauling any furniture around tomorrow.
