Resolutions

Went out to Queens for gaming at drcpunk’s and mnemex’s place. One of my characters had a bit of a freak-out that pushed the week’s plot quite conveniently into resolution. Later, she forced a different plot into resolving, through confidence instead of anger and anguish. She had quite a day. She deserved that single-malt.

I also tried out a new sketchpad I picked up at Soho North yesterday, in their upstairs section where I’d never ventured before. A Borden & Riley #880 Royal, spiral-bound, 6" x 9", 60 sheets of smooth 90-lb paper that takes markers real purty. I worked on character designs and doodles during the game:

She did deserve that scotch. I am amused that she's suspicious of one of the NPCs, basically because she can't tap his phone, just like the stereotypical FBI wiretapper.
