Shrimp ice cream!

Noodle ice cream!

I'd try the corn, sweet potato, and wasabi ice cream. Maybe one or two others. But most of the fish flavored ice creams I don't like the fish themselves of, know what I mean? So I think I'll be taking a pass on the eeel ice cream there laddie, if you don't mind.

Ohhhh, I dunno. Way back when cool ice cream flavors like M&M ice cream and the like were first being invented and sold in stores, ice cream parlors started to make the cool kid flavors too. Around 1980 I think, maybe even earlier than that, the local ice cream parlor on Martha's Vineyard, known as Mad Martha's, created a most disturbing ice cream flavor.

Quahog.

For those who don't know, that's a type of clam. O.O

I never had the guts to try it myself. Don't know if they still make it or not. Still, they beat out the Japanese by a few years it seems.

I believe that I saw shrimp ice cream being made as part of one of the two or three Iron Chef episodes I've seen.

I suspect that Japanese people get a lot more servings out of a container of eel ice cream than we do out of the same amount of chocolate or vanilla. I doubt that anybody could keep a lot of those flavours down if they ate them in typical American portions.

Oh, and I've seen Astronaut Ice Cream around some place, and think it's actually one of those NASAoid concoctions, like Space Food Sticks.
