amazing how easily one falls into weather porn. cyclones are fascinating. (and none are scheduled to be named Julia. humph.)

ivan has a really big eye.

even on a group satellite photo of frances parked over florida with no noticable eye, ivan's over near cape verde, already with a big ol' eye, easily seen from space.
