So, what IS the area of a right triangle with sides of 3, 4, and 5 inches? (I got 97% right, and that's the question I got wrong.)

Any right triangle is half of a rectangle, right? So pretend you’re figuring the area of a rectangle, then cut it in half. Ignore the hypotenuse, multiply the other two sides (3 x 4) to get the rectangle’s area (12), and then divide by two to get the triangle (6).
