Sick

Ooog. I was sick last night, the kind of sick that left me up past 6 AM trying to sleep past a knot of congealed ache in my belly, once I was done visiting the bathroom every 20 minutes. Still don’t know what caused it. Today the ache and feeling of obstruction are gone, but I’m weak. Gravity feels stronger, though the scale tells me I lost four pounds overnight.

At least I’m writing about something other than art supplies.

Hey, I *liked* the art supplies entries. But then I'm an office supplies/art supplies/pen type of geek, even though I never really use the nice ones for anything other than interesting desk decorations.

Thanks. I went out and picked up some Campbell’s beef broth (my preferred food for when I’m in that hungry but not sure what’ll stay down state) and saltines, and had brunch, and things seem to be OK. I’ve still got this borderline headache that comes around every so often and leans up against my skull, but doesn’t actually come in. And the local gravity seems to have returned to about normal.

If you like pads of paper (or even individual sheets), you must check out New York Central art supply (Manhattan, Third Avenue, below 11th Street)! It requires an effort of will for me to keep from buying a pad or two of paper whenever I go in there, regardless of whether I have any need or use for one at the moment.
