And what have we learned today?
We’ve learned...
- ...that having to pay $3 round trip to get into NYC and another $3 minimum round trip to get around inside NYC really do make me less likely to go in to the city and more likely to just sit around at home, as opposed to the good old days when I just paid $63 for a month of as much transit as I could eat.
- ...that if neither BSD nor JI host Games-Club-in-Exile, it doesn’t happen.
- ...that the hole-in-the-wall Italian place on Monmouth (Not Three Boys From Italy, the other, older place next to it) makes the closest thing to an authentic Philly cheesesteak I’ve had since I was in Philly last year.
- ...that I don’t hear my roommates come in if I’m upstairs listening to music.
- ...that Safari is a zippy little browser, but I’ve grown addicted to tabs.
- ...that sometimes I need to reboot to get my external FireWire drive to mount. (I use it for backups. No, I’ve never had a system I personally own go south on me. I do backups anyway.)
Chris feels all NYC-ey.
