Farewell dinner for Quility

All day, my legs and belly have been aching at me, as if I’d worked them hard yesterday. Oh, yeah.

New comics actually shipped today. (Well, they actually ship on Tuesdays, but you can’t buy ’em till Wednesday.) I picked up the latest New X-Men, and that’s it. Read drcpunk’s copy of Girl Genius; stuff happens, but the storytelling is still sloppy.

Bailed early on NYRSF to meet my ex-co-workers for quility’s farewell dinner at Ollie’s near Times Square; she’s headed out to Iowa in a couple of weeks. womzilla and cattitude were also there, as were some people who aren’t on LJ, what’s wrong with them? jayspec462 was missing, as were a few other people. I enjoyed the shocked expressions on the faces of people who hadn’t seen me since I had hair past my shoulders (and I shaved it clean again this afternoon), and I was reminded of how much I miss working with these people. (Aside from how much I just miss working.)

Nope, I meant Quilty, the pornographer. Humbert Humbert was a villain, in a way, but he wasn't the villain... Know what I mean?
