When [livejournal.com profile] cadhla visited a couple months back, she was amazed to find out that snowflakes really do look like tiny little six-pointed fractal gears. (Aren’t Californians cute?) She’d have known it already if she’d seen these amazing photomicroscopy images of snowflakes. (Via BoingBoing)

  • One-arm rows: 1 set of 15 reps with 12lb weight, 2 sets of 10 with 15lb.
  • Dumbbell standing shoulder press: 1 set of 15 reps with 12lb weights, 1 set of 10 with 15lb, 1 set of 10 with 18lb.
  • Dumbbell shrugs: 1 set of 15 reps with 18lb weights, 2 sets of 15 with 21lb weights. Too easy; I should find something else that works the same muscles with less weight. W shrugs?
  • Dumbbell bench press: 1 set of 15reps with 15lb weights, 2 sets of 10 with 18lb weights. Didn’t remember to compress my chest muscles consistently.
  • Dumbbell bicep curls: 1 set of 15 with 12lb weights, 2 sets of 10 reps with 18lb weights.
  • Ab crunches: 2 sets of 20 Hot Point style, 1 set of 20 penguins.

In other news, it looks like there may be no Games Club tonight; Lerner Hall is closed for spring break. Folks on the GC list are talking about meeting somewhere else, like Neutral Ground. I’m about to head off to Brooklyn to see if I can get some packing in before Sunday; I might stop off at Neutral Ground on the way home, or I might not.

And, yay, I just got the confirmation email for my domain reg transfer!
