Just short of the finish line

I’m two, maybe three hours of work away from finishing up the project I’m working on, and I need a few minutes of discussion with my technical contact so I can get some details right. (I’ve also just realized that they’re probably going to need to ask me to do a little more stuff than they’d originally contracted for.) But I was unable to get through to him all day. Grump. They want the stuff before Tuesday, and I was hoping to get it all finished up today.

So I spent a good chunk of time reading As If!, and the rest of the day painting. Y’all may get a scan after I’m done, if I like how it’s turned out, and feel like dealing with scanning something that’s larger than my scanner.

Oh, and I lost another half-pound, despite having had a massive, artery-clogging chicken carbonara sammitch at Quiznos yesterday.
