Skipped my scheduled upper-body workout today. My shoulders felt slightly achy, as if I’d worked them out yesterday, which I technically had. I’ll have to decide on Wednesday whether to do an upper- or lower-body workout. Also, my glutes felt worked-out, which is odd, since the only thing I’m doing that even touches my glutes is the deadlifts in my lower-body routine, last done on Friday, and that’s one of the exercises where I’m really not pushing myself at all, since my heaviest weights aren’t any kind of challenge. I wonder if it’s ’cause I spend so much time sitting on my ass in front of the computer.
To make up for that, I took a walk in the evening, down to Exchange Place and the dock/park with a great view of lower Manhattan:
