BFL: end of week 2
Aug. 1st, 2003 01:30 pmDown to 268. I’ll get some of that back over the weekend, but it’s a good trend. I expect to be into new territory by the end of next week. I’m still not fully on the BFL food plan; mostly, but I still have unauthorized snacks.
And I just got a small George Foreman grill; they’re just $13 at Amazon. (Whoops, now $15.) We grilled sliced squash on it last night, because
ladymondegreen wanted to try it out before I treyfed it with unkosher meat. Works pretty well.
Elliptical cross-trainer:
Started at 1 resistance, around 40-45 rpm.
For level 6 effort, added 5 levels of resistance, rpm generally stayed in low 40s.
For each level of effort, added 5 levels of resistance, up to level 8 effort.
For level 9 effort, stayed at level 16 resist, went up to 50-60 rpm.
For maximum effort, dropped back down to 11 resist, managed to get rpm up to 70. Didn’t feel like a 10.
