Ten figures
Aug. 19th, 2003 11:49 pmI decided I was getting too repetitive in my character designs and sketches. Too many heads. Not enough clothing. So this morning I committed to sketching ten full figures, in clothes, and not the t-shirts and jeans I tend to draw people in when I can’t think of anything. I allowed myself to pick clothes out of the DK Eyewitness Costume book, as long as I used new poses or angles and added some elements that weren’t in the original photo.
The first one, the guy in black in the upper left, was done with black Staedtler-Mars Duo brushpen. The rest are all Pitt brushpen, with the gray washes being gray Duo. A few have fine-point Pigma detailing as well.
