September Panda

Weird dream time. Last night I dreamt that I worked at a pet store. We had an egg there that hatched, letting out a creature called a “September panda”. We all knew it was a bird, even though it had no beak, no feathers, and no wings (or even any upper limbs). It was roughly bird-shaped, though, like a shaved kiwi with its wings and beak removed, made of jelly.

Did I mention that? Its body was clear and jellylike, with a hint of translucent internal organs deep within. There were some transparent blue stripes around its neck, and possibly elsewhere on its body.

We in the shop were hoping this rare, valuable, and beautiful creature would sell for lots of money, but it turned out that there was a glut on the market for these things, and also that they make lousy pets, leaving foul droppings everywhere.

Paint

Wow, it sure is easy to drop $50 on paint. But I now have a good selection of Liquitex acrylic colors in both opaque and transparent pigments.
