Ooog. I was sick last night, the kind of sick that left me up past 6 AM trying to sleep past a knot of congealed ache in my belly, once I was done visiting the bathroom every 20 minutes. Still don’t know what caused it. Today the ache and feeling of obstruction are gone, but I’m weak. Gravity feels stronger, though the scale tells me I lost four pounds overnight.
At least I’m writing about something other than art supplies.
I’m watching the “Just Another Manic Mojo” episode of The Powerpuff Girls, the one that starts with Mojo waking up and going shopping for eggs, one of my favorites. Mojo Jojo is one of my favorite cartoon characters, and I’ve just realized part of the reason — when he talks, he reminds me a whole lot of Mr. Jacobs, one of my grade school teachers. Mr. Jacobs wasn’t prone to shouting “Curses!” when things went wrong, or threatening the city with giant lasers and destructobots, but we did hear “Stop this foolishness!” a whole lot.
