Make your own Powerpuff!

This nifty Flash app (by Avrum Cohen, proving that guys named Avram are automatically cool, even if they spell it funny) lets you build your own Powerpuff Girl/Boy! Found via Turn of a Friendly Die, Ginger Stampley’s gaming blog.

To save your creation you’ll need to take a screen capture. Then you’ll need to pull it into an image editor to strip away all the surrounding stuff. But you smart folks already know how to do all that.

If there's anything I hate...

...it’s when I get undressed, brush my teeth, turn everything off, lie down in bed, rest my head on the pillow, close my eyes... and the visions come.

Not visions of the future or distant places or anything interesting like that. These are bits of paintings or drawings. Small bits, without context. A few streaks of paint, with brush strokes, or a bit of cross-hatching, or an intriguing section of an inked shape, perhaps with a wash of watercolor over it. Just enough to get my hands itching to draw or paint. Just as I’m trying to sleep.

And, of course, once I’ve gotten up out of bed and turned the lights on, they’re gone. The urge to make art is strongest when I can’t fulfill it. Stupid brain.
