Cutty the cuttlefish

This should look familiar to mamishka — I drew something like this in a letter to her a while back. That was watercolor pencils, this is acrylics. I wanted to test out that absorbent ground, so I slathered some onto a small canvas board. Works pretty well. I’m way into this acrylic glazing thing.

One of my prospective new roommates emailed me some apartment listings; one is for a place that pretty close, has three bedrooms, and costs less then what we’re willing to spend. I’m psyched. The deadline for renewing my gym membership is coming up next week, and I want to have some idea of whether to renew (if I’m moving someplace nearby, or close to another branch) or let it drop and join a new club near the new location. Not that I’ve been to the gym in the past month....

Peach-head

I haven’t shaved my head in over a week. My hair’s grown out to a millimeter or two, long enough to make it a pain to shave, leading to a self-reinforcing state. I’ll probably go in with the beard trimmer and take it down some time in the next few days, but till then it’s kind of soft and furry, like a very big peach or a very round shorthair cat.
