After reading some online diary comics I figured I’d start doing quicky short comics about things going on in my day. I knocked one off at Games Club, then decided not to run it — too quick-and-dirty. Maybe I’m hung up on the quality thing. So instead you get the usual sketches done on trains. I was using my Splash brush pen, which I’ve decided takes too long to dry to use on the train. I must have waited four or five stations for the ink to dry so I could close my sketchbook. I wound up pulling out my super-fine Pigma Micron to do a detail shot of the woman’s eye while waiting for her head to dry.
At GC I played, um, Nexus (which I won), and Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers (a tightly competitive game in which I came second), and a little Set (did better than I usually do, which isn’t saying much). It was a sparsely attended meeting, due perhaps to a local convention this weekend (which I won’t be attending).
