New X-Men and My Faith in Frankie

New X-Men #151: The first issue of Grant Morrison’s final story arc, “Here Comes Tomorrow”, and as I expected, he’s doing his own take on “Days of Future Past”. And it’s pretty darn cool. I was wondering if one of his characters was the protagonist of Sentinel grown up, but they seem to have different names.
My Faith in Frankie #1: The Marc Hempel cover got me to buy it, though he only does some of the inking inside. Frankie Moxon’s a 17-year-old girl who’s lived a blessed life. Literally. She’s got her own personal god, Jeriven, watching out for her, protecting her from all the troubles life has to offer. Including, unfortunately, the possibility of heartbreak. This is pretty clever and funny, and I’ll pick up the rest (it’s a four-issue miniseries) if they put out a TPB, but it’s yet another comic I can’t afford to follow in pamphlet form.
