1. Which five LJ friends have you known longest?

Longest would be [livejournal.com profile] drcpunk, who I’ve known for about 25 years now. Next is [livejournal.com profile] mamishka, who I met in 1984, just before leaving for college.

After that, it gets tough. My college roommate sometimes reads here, but doesn’t have an account, so he doesn‘t get counted. So we go on to the batch of folks I met all at the same time in 1989 or so: [livejournal.com profile] bugsybanana, [livejournal.com profile] cattitude, [livejournal.com profile] jbsegal, [livejournal.com profile] redbird, [livejournal.com profile] roadnotes, and probably a few others. Actually, I might have met [livejournal.com profile] lyonesse before this bunch, thanks to Mamishka, but only glancingly.

2. Is/are your significant other/s on LJ?

Yup.

3. Do you have LJ friends you've never met in real life?

Yeah, a few, like [livejournal.com profile] meowse, [livejournal.com profile] tsukechick, [livejournal.com profile] lumpley, and [livejournal.com profile] immlass. A whole bunch I’ve only met once or twice, too, like [livejournal.com profile] kuronekogirl, [livejournal.com profile] annathepiper, [livejournal.com profile] holyoutlaw, and [livejournal.com profile] miss_chance.

4. Do you have friends that you met first on LJ, then in real life?

Yeah, [livejournal.com profile] cthulhia for one. [livejournal.com profile] zoe_trope and [livejournal.com profile] nihilistic_kid, too.

5. Do you discuss personal information in your LJ?

Sometimes, generally behind a friends-only lock.

A couple more web-comic recommendations:

Reman Mythology: I picked up issue #2 in dead-tree form at MoCCA in 2002, and had been wondering if any more had come out. Answer: Yup. Amy Kim Ganter has been scanning in her paper comics (four issues so far, plus a bonus comic about one of the supporting characters) at a page a day, scheduled to finish sometime next month. Then she’ll switch to a page a week for new material.

PS238: This is apparently a paper comic about an elementary school for young super-powered folks, but creator Aaron Williams puts up two-page promotional shorts in the form of TV commercials for the school, and some of them are pretty funny.
