Was sick, now better

I was really sick yesterday.

Saturday, akawil was vomiting, and we all thought it was food poisoning from some inconsistently-defrosted turkey. Yesterday ladymondegreen and I came down with the same symptoms, so the the turkey’s off the hook unless somebody’s invented contagious food poisoning.

I spent the entire day sleeping, interrupted by having to use the toilet (generally at both ends) every 20-40 minutes. This eventually tapered off; by the evening I wasn’t vomiting anymore, and was able to sit still for an hour at a time, and kept down a dish of applesauce.

This morning I discovered my belly muscles had firmed up — I’d barfed enough to give myself an abs workout!
