• Incredible Machines: 13-minute collection of bumpers for a Japanese TV show, consisting of elaborate Rube Goldberg devices made from household materials. The video wasn’t available just now when I looked, but maybe it’ll come back up. Oh wait, here it is on YouTube!

• Ryan vs Dorkman: Amazing 5-minute homemade lightsaber fight.
• G4 + BOOOUM = G5: A professional video editor needs a new G5 Mac, so he says he’ll ’splode his old G4 if he gets $5000. He does, and does. (via mister_wolf)
• iTalk concept video: Short fake ad for possible combination cellphone/video iPod from Apple. Very cool, but probably just vaporware right now.

Today’s sketch

Still using the Winsor & Newton pocket sketch journal, and Faber-Castell Pitt grayscale brush markers. And a mechanical pencil. I wish I could find my landscape and terra sets. And it would be nice if they came out with a portrait set. Maybe I’ll write and ask about that.
