Comics and pens

avramNot much in the way of comics today, just the latest Promethea. Good, but how many months has it been since the last one? I’m losing track of the plot. (That right there is a good reason to stick with TPBs over pamphlets, even if money and space weren’t issues.)
Stopped off at NY Central to pick up a couple of Pitt pigment markers as spares. While there, I tried out some Japanese pens — a Tachikawa “spoon-pen” nib, and an ink-filled nylon fiber brush-pen. The nib pen had nice flow, but a very thin line. Not that I mind thin lines, but it didn’t seen to offer me much over a far cheaper fine-point Pigma Micron.
The brush-pen (I’ve forgotten the brand, but it runs about seven bucks) was nice and juicy, but too thick for my current habits and style. I may go back and buy one to play around with, especially if I get that job and money isn’t quite as tight.
