Quick update
Sep. 29th, 2003 11:41 pmMan, three days of Rosh Hashana may just be too much.
I got a call from the folks I interviewed with last week; they want me to start Thursday. This is still just a freelance gig, but it ought to generate lots of work for me through the beginning of November; there might even be more after that, but that’s the deadline for the current big project.
I’ve finished Jo Walton’s Tooth & Claw, which I enjoyed much more than The King’s Peace (which I’ve not yet been able to get very far into). Tooth & Claw is a pastiche of Trollope, with dragons as the main characters. As you’d expect, characters die of consumption.
And I’ve just started Jim MacDonald’s The Apocalypse Door, which I think I’m going to like a whole lot.
