More web comics
Nov. 20th, 2003 06:10 pmI really like Kazu Kibuishi’s occasional web comic Copper. Make sure you read “Bubbles” and “Bridge” before the latest installment, “Ballad”. Or just go to the index page and start at the lower right.
I’ve also just started reading Adam Reed’s Nine Planets Without Intelligent Life. Just five episodes so far, a good time to start reading! And he’s cleverly arranged for the images to resize based on what you do with your browser’s text size controls. (He leaves the IMG tags without HEIGHT and WIDTH attributes, and then defines image height and width with CSS in a STYLE attribute, and declares them in ems.)
And Jordin Crane’s Vodvil looks pretty good. I found it through Red Ink Like Blood, which seems to have some kind of weekly comics content, but I can’t figure out if it’s a continuing strip, or promos of other stuff, and there doesn’t seem to be an archive (which sucks, ’cause I really liked last week’s strip). I’ll have to hunt through the rest of the Highwater artists later.
