D'arc Tangent
Dec. 12th, 2003 12:15 amA few days ago, D’arc Tangent came up in a conversation with (I think)
akawil and
ladymondegreen. This was Phil Foglio’s first comics project, back in 1982, a collaboration with Freff, a wonderful SF comic series that never saw a second issue. Studio Foglio has some copies that they’re selling for $25 a pop, but I found one copy on eBay (I had to search without the apostrophe to find it) that’s currently going for $4.50 (plus shipping, of course, in both cases).
I need to dig up my copy.

Given that I don't recognize your name or your photograph; can't recall ever having met you (so if we ever did, it must have been in passing); and haven't been particularly active in your corner of the profession for 20 years, it is difficult for me to imagine that you know very much about me.
But I dearly love to hear stories about stuff that went on back in the '80s -- sometimes they are even true -- so feel free to spill.
Cheers,
Connor Freff Cochran

Date: 2006-04-03 04:06 pm (UTC)Not remembering me isn't an issue, Freff. I'm not terribly memorable, except for having a shelf that was as big as Mama Liz's back then. (And after carrying all that around for over 30 years, in my 40s I did what Liz did; reduction is my friend [and my back's friend!]. And now men look me in the eye. Funny thing, eh? :) ] )
