Thank you, anonymous person who just gave me two months of paid LJ account time!

I bought a couple of months earlier this year, to see if the for-pay servers were any faster than the free servers (and to get an access code to start nycsuspects). Didn’t seem that any faster at the time, though there have supposedly been improvements since.

There are no longer separate free and paid account servers. Most of what I like about having a paid account is the extra userpics, and the ability to post random silly (or even not-so-silly) polls.
