A question for Seattleites

bruceb is thinking of moving to the Seattle area, and would like some advice on specifics.

(Seattleites? Seattlites? Neither looks right.)

Looks like he's getting good suggestions.

"Seattleites" is the correct way. The first time I saw that, 10 years old visiting my Aunt and Uncle, I laughed out loud because it made me think of "sattleite." Now sattleite doesn't look right to me. Hah!

Sub-orbital seattleites? Seattlers of Katan? Would the 'Seattleniks' be a migration of the New York NBA team, or a sortening of the name of the team that's already in Seattle?
