20 min on elliptical cross-trainer. Felt much harder than yesterday. First 10 min at around 55 RPMs, resistance level 10, heartrate in 140s, climbed up to 160s. Second 10 min dropped to around 45 RPMs. At 18 min I dropped the resistance to 1, pushed to around 75 RPMs, held for one minute; heartrate went up into 170s. Dropped back down to pokey levels for the last minute to cool down.

And afterwards I was pretty wiped out. I spent most of the day wandering around Manhattan doing various chores, but I walked very slowly. I’m skipping the workout tomorrow, picking it up again Friday. Eventually I’ll get back to my old pattern — six days a week, alternating aerobic with weights.
