New printer

avramI got me a new one o’ them hifalutin’ bubble-jettin’ printifiers today. I was fed up with the crappy performance of my Lexmark Z23. The performance, the unhelpfulness of their tech support, and the high price of their ink cartridges (around $35 each for both color and black-and-white, and the printer only came with a color cartridge, so I had to pony up more cash right off the bat) put me off Lexmark entirely. Instead, I was planning on getting a Canon S300 Bubblejet, but that model seems to have been replaced by the S330, so I got one of those instead. Works better than the Lexmark ever did, and the ink is reasonably priced. And it came with both cartridges in the box. What it didn’t come with is a USB cable, so I swapped over the one from my scanner, and I’ll pick up another tomorrow.
