The image fluttering about in my head involves pigeons. One brilliant thing about the web is that it lets me hunt up photo reference without leaving my livingroom chair, thanks to the splendiferous Google Image Search. Spit ’em out through my color inkjet printer ($100 for print quality that was unimaginable when I got my first computer), and I’ve got a photo reference library. Better still, I just print out what I need and trash the pages when I’m done, leaving the originals on my hard drive, ’cause hard drive space is cheaper than apartment space. Technology rocks.
