That flakiness in our DSL connection, that I mentioned on Monday? Still flaking, badly. I’m using a Panix dialup (local Jersey City number) at the moment. Grumble, grumble. I’ve had no choice but to do stuff that involves shoving actual atoms around in meatspace — putting together the rest of my Ikea Pax dresser units and linking them together, putting up coathooks in the alcove at the base of the stairs so we’ve got a place to hang coats, that sort of thing.

And I’m having a pisser of a time getting through to the LJ servers. I’ve tried to post this about half a dozen times, and I keep getting some sort of error massage about the servers.
