Last night’s baby headache was all grown when it woke me this morning. Two Advils let me get back to sleep, and it was gone when I woke again after noon, feeling proper and energetic. Made some calls I needed to make, then went into Manhattan for comics. (New Finder, yay! Also got the first collection of Stray Bullets.) Followed
womzilla to Tor, chatted with Fred (who’s not on LJ — yet!) for a while. Back home, did some work on the freelance job, watched Angel (pretty good), eventually did the workout that I really ougtha have done this morning.
- Dumbbell squats: 3 sets of 15 reps with 12lb weights.
- Dumbbell stiff-legged deadlifts: 3 sets of 15 reps with 21lb weights.
- Single-legged calf raises: 3 sets of 15 reps with a 9lb weight. These are getting more difficult, and I don’t know why.
- Ab crunches: 2 sets of 20 Hot Point style, 1 set of 20 penguins. Got up too quick after, got a near-cramp while undressing.
I feel very thoroughly worked out, moreso than I usually do after a lower-body workout. Also, my sweatpants have been feeling looser than they did a couple of weeks ago, and my underpants are tending to slide down. I don’t know if I’m losing weight, but I think I may be losing circumference.
