- Whitespace programming language
- Most modern programming languages do not consider white space characters (spaces, tabs and newlines) syntax, ignoring them, as if they weren't there. We consider this to be a gross injustice to these perfectly friendly members of the character set. Should they be ignored, just because they are invisible? Whitespace is a language that seeks to redress the balance. Any non whitespace characters are ignored; only spaces, tabs and newlines are considered syntax.
Really, not a whole lot else that’s funny. This may be the lamest April Fools Day in the last few years. Maybe it’s the war.
In other news, I weigh 279 today, half a pound lighter than when I weighed myself just after having been sick for three days. I realized that I’d been eating really badly for a few weeks, so now I’m being more careful.
And I got a big wodge of the dental software project art done last night. I oughta be able to finish it off in another day or two. And I’ve discovered that I’ve probably got a few hundred dollars worth of auctionable-on-eBay Magic cards.
Update: Wait, I forgot about Google MentalPlex. (Not as funny as PigeonRank.) Further Update: Nope, that’s three years old.
Stop the presses! It just occurred to me to check to top page of ThinkGeek, and they’ve got more than just the grill:
- The Shrinter is the world's first combination color laser printer & shredder!
- Shirt Guy Dom GOLD: Powered by the brand new S.T.I.C.K. engine, these games take full advantage of your PC's capabilities without wasting processor time on useless things like color, surfaces or textures.
- Executive Atom Collection: Bask in the nostalgia provided by this magnificent display case containing a single atom from each element on the periodic table.
- Celebrity DNA: Imagine some of the future possibilities, like: Celebrity-Milkshakes(tm), Celebrity-Pets(tm) and even Celebrity-In-A-Mylar-Bag-Boardgame(tm)!
Chris reminds you it's Make Fun of the Cheneys Day!
