Dying Earth RPG
Jul. 20th, 2003 12:15 amLast night was Games-Club-In-Exile at Stephen Tihor’s new place; Beth and I taught Fred how to play Light Speed, and I didn’t join in the games of Elixer and Puerto Rico that started up.
Today some of us went back to Stephen’s to try out the Dying Earth RPG. All the bits we thought would be annoying turned out to be annoying. I think it would have gone much better if we’d played with the optional rule that forbids rerolling ones and sixes. The sample scenario is delightful, with one or two minor problems that could have been fixed by a good editor.
Been a while since I posted sketches, hasn’t it?
