Body for Life, day 2
Jul. 21st, 2003 02:55 pmNot only do my biceps ache from yesterday’s workout, but my chest muscles ache. These are the two regions where I managed to get a Level 10 effort going yesterday. I woke up at 4 AM, briefly fearing that I was having chest pains, till I figured it out.
- Weight: 270
- Level 5: Slow pace, level 1 slope
- Level 6: Slow pace, level 5 slope
- Level 7: Slow pace, level 10 slope
- Level 8: Slow pace, level 15 slope
- Level 9: Fast pace, level 15 slope
- Level 10: Fast pace, level 20 slope — Didn’t actually feel like a Level 10 experience.
- Maximum level of effort attained: 9
- Heart rate seemed to stay in 150s and 160s for most of time.
- Time: 20 minutes
Notes for next time: Faster pace on Level 10?
Those two pounds I seem to have lost since yesterday almost certainly have more to do with what I did in the bathroom this morning than what I did yesterday in the gym. Still, nice to see.
