Ack! Ernck! Pthagh! Gnyeck!

I’m all confangulated in an emotional web of my own devising, tangled up in frustrations and confounded expectations. I’ve spent far too many hours in front of this goddamn slab of silicon and titanium, getting nothing productive (read: painting or cleaning) done. I’m simultaneously wired-up and tired-out. Also, it’s fucking hot and I’m drenched in sweat.

Not all is bad. I’m listening to They Might Be Giants’s Live, which has some of my fave tunes on it, and No!, which finally came out , and includes “The Edison Museum”, which is my Absolute Number One Favorite Song In The Entire Universe this week. I got these at Tower a couple of days ago, along with the Ben Folds Five’s The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner, which is pretty good, but doesn’t have anything on it that lifts the top of my skull of and stirs raw emotional pigment into my graymatter like some of Rocking the Suburbs does.
