Google Image Search means not having to actually go to the museum to sketch horned ungulates. Though I might get a better assortment there. Here are some rams:



Not sure if this is what I want. Can anyone suggest some interestingly-horned animals? (Moose might be too interesting.)

What is this for? I can think of Narwhals, which are pretty cool and unusual horned creatures. There is also antelope - long and spirally and I think some of them have curved horns as well as straight. And reindeer - a little less scary than moose horns.

I’m still working on Melorne’s character design. After drawing her father the other day I realized that their horns were backwards, that they’re spiraling in the wrong direction. This shouldn’t bother me, because hey, they’re demons, not goats or sheep, but it bothers me anyway, and I realized as I was thinking about it that I don’t like Melorne’s horn design at all. So I’ve gone back to fiddling and sketching. i did a pretty good sketch last night that I’ll post later.
