Heavyhands, week 3, day 1
May. 13th, 2003 02:13 pmFifth consecutive day of exercise (not counting Sunday, my day off for this week).
- Weight: 274
- Walked for 30 minutes, doing four (five?) sets of flyes, lifts, and overheads, 35 reps per set, with 1-lb weights. This was the first week where the arm exercises felt difficult. Not very difficult, but it was pretty effortless on the earlier weeks.
- Heartrate monitor was giving me trouble. For the first five or ten minutes, I was getting wild readings, alternately too low (nearly believable numbers like 107, unbelievable ones like 57) and too high (in the 170s). After a while it settles down, and I was getting numbers in my typical range — 130s, sometimes low 140s. I may need to get a new battery.
DSL is back. Yay!
