3D17 (link via Boing Boing) is a website that allows groups to create documents by suggesting changes and voting on them. “Have you ever thought what kind of letter the combined intelligence of 1,000 people might produce to support your opinion?” the site asks, and well, yes I have, and I don’t expect anything stirring or coherent to come out of such a mix.

But such a system might work well for small groups doing online role-playing. The name of the site even sounds vaguely RPGish.
