May. 23rd, 2002 09:44 pmRemember last night’s entry, when I said that Rufus Wainright’s “Hallelujah” was used as background music in an episode of Sports Night? Well, this afternoon I suddenly realized (while thinking about other things) that I’d actually been remembering Shrek. Also, the song was actually written by Leonard Cohen. And the version used in Shrek was performed by John Cale; the same version might have been used in last night’s The West Wing. So I was three kinds of wrong there.
Oh, looks like there’s a sequel to Shrek in the works.

The Shrek sequel should be fun. Have you seen the book it's based on? Not at all like the film, but interesting nonetheless. Dr. Desoto is still my favorite though.
