Bwa-haha! Some folks have written “Once More with Hobbits”, rewriting the songs from the musical Buffy episode for an NYC Lord of the Rings line party (though I don’t know when or where). “Going Through the Motions”, “Walk Through the Fire”, and “I’ve Got a Theory” are the best pieces:

You know ... I've been trying to do that with "Walk Through The Fire" for years.

(Only mine started more like "I hold the Precious and it calls to me / I put it on and disappear"...)

Years? It’s only been just over two years since “Once More With Feeling” aired.

...I guess "years" sounds longer than that.

I'm actually one of the people on the ground floor of Once More With Hobbits. We're performing some songs from it at the NYC Line Party tonight, before we all go see Da Movie. If you managed to weasle your way into this line party, come say hi! I'll be done up as Wormtongue. I don't sing, thankfully, but I do get to throw something!
Oh, and keep your eyes on the site, 'cause we're planning on recording as many of these songs as possible. They're WAY too much fun.
