John Ashcroft on Saddam Hussein and WMDs:

“Weapons of mass destruction including evil chemistry and evil biology are all matters of great concern, not only to the United States but also to the world community. They were the subject of U.N. resolutions.”

So does this mean Ashcroft will be pushing for invasions of states where the schools teach evolution?

And does my mad scientist friend negativeq have to worry?

I imagine that if they press hard enough on forbidding evolution & anything related to it, they could wind up with beatific chemistry and biology that would not give the kids the wherewithal to create CBW.

On the other hand, he did not mention mad chemistry or mad biology.

My suspicion is that Ashcroft finds all chem & bio evil.

OTOH, "Jewish science" comes to mind and that's not comforting.

Today I begin teaching biology lab to impressionable freshman and sophomores.

First comes the preparation of properly PH'd buffers.
Then I end the class with a lesson on how to pick out virgin ... flies.

Yes, flies. For our genetic experiments.

I must instill them with as much evil AND mad bio/chem before I get chucked by some institution or other.
