This here looks like a pretty handy thing, and it’d fetch you lots of oohs and aahs at the next tech-geek get-together, but it’d be a serious pain the day your essential data got confiscated by airport security.

Is basically my Victorinox Cybertool, without the knife blade or the saw.

FAA regs allow nail scisors and small scisors if they've got rounded tips -- just not the long-bladed kind. I think they allow knife blades up to one inch long, or thereabouts. That's actually acceptable for a geek Swiss Army knife that's going to be used in the office rather than in a hike through the backwoods. Meanwhile, having the other widgets -- bottle opener, can opener, screwdriver with interchangeable bits, mini-pliers, tweezers and about 256Mb of FLASH -- would be really handy.

For added bonus points they could do one with a modular clip-on long-bladed knife/saw combi that you could remove and stick in your hold luggage while flying.
