Fleeing from the house cleaners, I spent a few hours at the NYU Starbucks. Quick-and-dirty life drawing with a 005 Pigma Micron and a Pentel brushpen.

The top two and the lower right-hand are all very well-exectued.

I could never get into brush pens. I admire people who can.

Lower-left gal was far away, and moved mid-sketch. She was with upper-left guy (though they weren't sitting together), and they both said I made him look more attractive than he actually is.

It took me a while to get the hang of brushpens. Here's some brushpennery from four years ago. (Hm, this portrait ain't bad, but doesn't really take advantage of the medium.)
