Date: 2002-10-04 07:42 am (UTC)Good P&F post today, by the way. That's one of my pet peeves as well: It's a made up word meant to mean Hatred of Jews. I'm sure that the originator wouldn't have liked Arabs much either, had he met them, but the word means what it's meant to mean. And ESPECIALLY considering that the word is ALWAYS used that way except for a few numbskulls who want it to mean what it seems like it should mean, there's no real good argument for "There can't be any Arab anti-semitism! Why, they're semites! Oh, those "Protocols" things? Just joshing between cousins. Good joke, huh?"
