Giving up on Firefly

avramThat’s it, strike four, it’s out. I finally remembered to set my VCR, to put the cable box on the right channel, made sure the tape was rewound, all that good stuff, figured I’d finally get to see a whole episode of Firefly, and last night I wound up recording one hour of baseball. Which is a reason not to watch any Fox show. Bad enough I missed half a season of Futurama because of football, I see no reason to get hooked on yet another show that’ll get yanked out from under me by the fact that sports gets higher ratings. I’m at the point where any network that guarantees me that it won’t cover sports (outside of a slot in normal news coverage) will gain a chunk of my loyalty.
