After more than a week of craving exercise, I slept late this morning and didn’t go to the gym. Bleh. I did eventually drag my ass into some clothes and do some laundry. I also upgraded to MacOS X 10.1.5, and installed Silk, so now all the web looks really slick and anti-aliased, which means large text looks great and small text looks blurry and illegible. Time to fiddle with the settings to find a good threshold setting.
You do not suck!

anti-suck
Date: 2002-06-07 06:44 pm (UTC)I was having trouble with blurry text in iCab reading LiveJournal in particular, but setting the system cut-off for smoothing to 10 seems to have fixed that well enough to suit my optical indiosyncracies.
Silk seems to have a clipping bug when displaying smoothed text against a "benday" background, e.g. selected text in iCab's URL text box.
