Small world

I was skimming through
cthulhia’s
chanaleh, who seems to be my Bacchante from the weekend. (Here’s a photo, from an earlier party. And here’s one of Cthulhia, who’s prettier in real life.) And it looks like she knows
ladymondegreen. Only five-thousand people in the world, really. The rest are all computer graphics.

Date: 2002-11-07 05:54 pm (UTC)Small Press Expo is a comics convention for small-press publishers, held in Bethesda, Maryland each September for the past few years. Earlier in the year they take in contributions -- freely donated by the creators -- for the Expo book, the profits from which go to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. It's a big, thick bundle of comics for about $8-10, an amazing bargain, even if large portions of it aren't very good. Anyway, the 2001 book was the best one yet (2002's not nearly as good), and had a color section. A recommend it highly and enthusiatically. New Yorkers, I think you may still be able to find it at Jim Henley's on 33rd Street.
