Annoying Chimera habit

One annoying habit that Chimera has is failing to fetch new pages from LiveJournal and handing me a cached version of my Friends page instead. “What, nobody’s updated since last night? They can’t all be out Xmassing. Wait, hit Reload ... there they are!”

I’m home, bored, wondering if it’s worth venturing out into the snow to find out that everything’s closed. Hm, Chinatown’s just a PATH and subway ride away. And at 9 there’s Whisperado’s show.

I'm not sure it's your browser. A few days ago, both Mozilla (Windows) and Konqeror (Linux) started showing the same behavior on the LiveJournal site. I think it's server-side; maybe they set their TTL too high.

Well, Chimera is Mozilla, with native MacOS X display bits. But if other browsers are doing it too, and only on LJ, then yeah, it's probably LJ's fault.
